INJUSTICE ANYWHERE IS A THREAT TO JUSTICE EVERYWHERE.

Whoever said that "what is done in the darkness shall be revealed to the light one day", was  not entirely insane, this comes as main concern as one of our  journalist was
physically assaulted by the prominent security director. This came about as a result of exposure of  misdeeds and non-performance of the MUSO directors

David Okoth who is prominently known as Sanchez physically assaulted  Eddy Ashioya who is a writer for the 3rd eye after he exposed larceny of funds which was under the article "Ghost projects",which he mention some of the ghost projects which have undertaken inflated amounts of cash  which included crowd control during graduation which costed 155,000 KSh,not forgetting that the campus has security guards, a visit to HELB which was budgeted at 27,000 which makes no sense and Nairobi is only 800 shillings away.

Fellow comrades did not take such insult lightly as they agreed to meet at the student center on Monday morning for a peaceful demonstration which was later taken to the administration. The demonstration was also taken to the social media under the hashtag #IStandWithAshioya.

Personally for my friend and colleague Ashioya i wish him quick recovery as we stand on the front line on this battle for justice to be served, and we wont stop being on their neck until justice is served. Remember the media is the watchdog of the society and Ashioya was just doing his job just like me here doing my job to make sure you get inform, and also being a good student who makes sure his assignment  is done on time.

  1. There is no excuse for assaulting journalists but writing for the masses should always be objective. I completely agree with the title . good work :)
